meet the founder
My name is Alanna McKeigue. I started Island Glow in 2024 after many years of dreaming and 12 years of working as a dental hygienist. For four of those years I worked as a specialist in a Periodontal Clinic. Furthering my passion, I completed my degree in Bachelors of Dental Science at UBC, June 2023.
My dream to own and operate a mobile oral health and hygiene clinic on Vancouver Island was inspired by my desire to remove barriers to dental hygiene care for people living in rural areas, or anyone who has mobility challenges.
